New to the Community!
Pickerington Magazine has new publisher
Magazine features new look and features
The Publishing Group Ltd. announces the acquisition of Pickerington Magazine. The magazine is joining the ranks of PGL’s other community magazines: Dublin Life, Westerville Magazine and Upper Arlington Magazine, as well as the company’s flagship publication, CityScene Magazine, Columbus Arts, Entertainment & Style.

“Pickerington is a natural addition. The community fits in well with the demographics and population of the other communities we serve,” says President and Publisher Kathy Gill.

PGL is working with both the City of Pickerington and Violet Township on the new magazine.

“Our community magazine model provides city partners with unsurpassed readership and a cost effective way to communicate with residents,” Gill adds.

The community magazines are often used as economic development pieces since they reflect the lifestyle of the community—an important aspect in attracting new business. Cities also use their newsletter pages in the magazines to promote their city’s brand, in and out of their community.

Pickerington Magazine is the first community magazine that PGL has added since the inception of Westerville Magazine in 2001. Dublin Life, Upper Arlington and CityScene magazines premiered in 1999 and are celebrating 10 year anniversaries this year.

CityScene Magazine and each of the community magazines have significant web presence throughout Central Ohio. The web sites, updated daily, are linked to community partners, offer updated event listings as well as ticket and giveaway promotions.

The Publishing Group Ltd., founded in 1999, is a locally-owned company dedicated to helping clients achieve their marketing and communication objectives by partnering with them to produce high-quality publications with compelling content.
