Wendy's Management Group (www.wenmanagement.com) has once again teamed up with Evans Automotive to host the Second Annual Italian Gathering.

The Sept. 2 event welcomes Italian cars and motorcycles of all vintages to the Wendy's International Corporate grounds One Dave Thomas Blvd., Dublin, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

"We have a lot of new things planned this year" says George Evans, event organizer and owner of Evans Automotive.

A non-Italian car corral for specialty vehicles is being added at the request of last year's spectators. Evans is also planning new awards.

"This is a fun event, we allow the attendees to decide the award winners by popular vote" he says.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adaption, www.davethomasfoundation.org, and Wendy's Wonderful Kids, www.wendyswonderfulkids.org/wwk/wwk_index.asp.

"We expect a special visit from a couple of kids who have benefited from the foundation" says Erin Dillon a Wendy's International staffer who is also one of the event organizers.

Those who choose to register their cars early can save $10 (ends Aug. 20) and will have the option to participate in a dinner the night before. Registration the day of the event is $35.
